Dear Mary
Ever since doing your program
in May this year, (2005) school work has been so
much more enjoyable and most important easier and
understandable. In years 7 and 8 (before the
program) I found school difficult and hard to
concentrate. For my yearly exam on each subject, I
would always come in the bottom of the class and
never pass the exam. Since doing your program I
have been able to concentrate more in class and
understand a lot easier. In my yearly exams this
year, I passed every subject and got the highest
I’ve ever got in maths (84%) compared to last years
(27 %.) This year I came 3rd in my class
for math too.
I am certain that doing the
program has helped me to reach my full potential.
Thanks a lot for helping me with my dyslexia. The
hard work has definitely paid off. |

6 year old girl
Dear Mary
Thank you for all your support with .............. My daughter is 6 years old started Kindergarten last year.
Attending school for 9 months she disliked school, social problems, could not concentrate, behaviour problems,low self-esteem, always complaining about every little thing, She had not idea of her alphabet, mixed letters up all the time. She has a visual memory problem so every new word or familiar word looked like new whenever coming across it time after time.
This was very surprising to our family as she was always the most confident child, very intelligent child at preschool and was very happy with life. Since starting with Mary using the Ron Davis program she learnt her alphabet within 4-6 weeks. Everything started to change. She finally had a smile on her face as she had achieved the very basics to start learning to read. This was very exciting for all of us. We found a program that I believe really works. She still has a lot of work to do and this program will be on going but Mary gives you confidence and assurance there is a light at the end of the tunnel and ................ will be able to enjoy learning as a normal everyday student.
I would recommend this program to everybody.

13 year old boy
Dear Mary
I am the mother of a 13 year old boy who has struggled with school, not being able to read, no self esteem and constantly calling himself DUMB, this is what he was hearing from other children so this is what he believed about himself.
The teachers are no better; he was constantly targeted for his misbehaviour in class and always labelled the Bad Boy, even to the extent of being asked if I have ever had him tested for ADHD. So I did. He was put on a slow release Ritalin and continued on this for over 12 months. This had no impact on his learning just made him a very angry boy when he came down off the drug, so we stopped it and tried a number of other things, glasses, tutoring, therapy and thousands of dollars later still no solutions.
I first heard about the Davis Program earlier this year from a friend of my mothers, whose granddaughter had gone through the program. At first I was very apprehensive as it was a lot of money and nothing else had worked (why will this be any different?), so I did not do anything about it. Then in September this year after a nasty note home from the High School that my son attends, and an even nastier note back to the school, I decided that with the way the syllabus and teachers where, that this was not going to get any better and myself as a parent had to try and make things easier for my Son, so I contacted Mary Davie.
We started the Davis Program on the 15th October 2007, still a little apprehensive. He was taught about the Minds Eye which is what is used to turn off disorientation. He was then taught about Symbol Mastery, which is using clay to master word symbols and meanings. I could not believe that on day 2 he was able to do the alphabet forwards and backwards. He even said to me, “Mum, it all sounds so stupid, but it really works”? He was excited every day I went back to pick him up and proud of what he was achieving he was becoming a different boy, a happy boy and a boy with more self esteem.
Mary is a very warm and caring person who helped my son become a lot more confident about himself and his ability to learn. By the end of the week he was reading a lot better than he was when he first started the programme. I spent ½ a day on the final day learning what I would have to continue with him at home.
Now that we have finished the week with Mary the program must continue, we spend Monday to Friday with the weekends off, in his room for around 1 to 1 ½ hours doing the Symbol Mastery which is a lot of fun (I call this our bonding time) we have a lot of laughs. Then we do some reading using Sweep Sweep Spell which I also use now on my Daughter. Every morning 10 minutes is spent working with the koosh balls.
It has now been a month since we started the program and my son has already received 2 Merit Certificates for reading and working well in class. He is also spending all his time in the classroom and not being sent outside. He is happy to go to school each day and finding that he is able to concentrate better by staying on point. The biggest thing for me is to see the excitement on his face when he comes home with that Merit Certificate and the confidence that he now has is truly a wonderful feeling. We have a long way to go yet but I can honestly say that I have every confidence that by this time next year he will be working at an appropriate age level or beyond. And for him the biggest thing that he wants to achieve out of this is to pass a test and to read Harry Potter Books.
Thankyou to Ron Davis and Mary Davie for a simple but wonderful solution to helping my Son and any other person who has the “GIFT”.
